Hey there!I Recently had a miscarriage in early October. The doctor told me I should wait to have two normal periods before having unprotected sex again. Well, the first month we used protection but the second month we ummm....didn't have a condom one night and ....let's just say the mood took over all logical reasoning. After having suffered two miscarriages, I am offended by your statement that not desiring a child increases your chance of miscarriage. It is totally wrong. Miscarriage is higher in older women who desperately want children and this is not due to a lack of ambivalence. This is due to age and a decrease in the quality of their eggs. Such comments can greatly hurt a woman who finds out she is unexpectedly pregnant and then miscarries and makes her believe it is her fault. Pleae be cautious with your words if you continue to advise women as these statements can truly hurt those you intend to help.
I recently miscarried and I am that woman that Natalie referred to - I became unexpectedly pregnant and then miscarried.
