Bed Rest & Depression

I am 30 weeks pregnant and I have been told to stay in bed for the rest of my pregnancy. I am so board that I am getting depressed. Can my feeling be felt by my baby?

Pregnancy is not easy for any woman and when you are forced to stay in bed for part of the pregnancy it can be very challenging. Now lets look at why you have pre term labor. My intuitive assessment tells me you have a lot of issue with been a mother. You fear not been a good enough mother and not been able to cope. This underlying fear is one of the factors creating pre term labor.

Your baby has picked up your fears and is having a hard time staying in your body.
This overtone of depression is adding to your condition. It is important to shift this depression as your baby is been affected by it. To start with dedicate part of your day consciously connecting with your little one growing inside of you to make him or her feel welcome.

Find some activity that you can do from your bed to keep yourself busy. These last few months in your pregnancy are crucial to the mental health of your baby who will grow into an adult. Unresolved negative emotional thought forms by a pregnant mother can affect a child for a lifetime. Decide in this moment to be positive. Watching the movie the Secret is a great place to start. My CD “Communicating With Your Unborn Child” is a fabulous guided visualization CD to connect at a very deep level with your unborn child. To purchase this CD email me at
