Be informed about molar pregnancy to reduce your risk of developing uterine cancer as a result of your molar pregnancy or partial molar pregnancy.

What is a molar pregnancy:
Approximately one in every 1000 to 2000 pregnant woman end up having a molar pregnancy. A molar pregnancy is an abnormal pregnancy and can result in uterine or ovarian cancer if not managed correctly. A molar pregnancy is a pregnancy that is growing into a mole within the womb. On ultrasound there is no baby’s heartbeat, but there will be this grape-like mole growing inside your womb.

Types of molar pregnancies:
There are two types of molar pregnancy. Both are very serious and both are extremely abnormal pregnancy growths. One is a complete molar pregnancy and the second is a partial molar pregnancy.

Complete molar pregnancy:
If it is a complete molar pregnancy then there is no baby, no baby parts, no placenta and no amniotic fluid. There is just a big mole and it looks like a bunch of grapes growing inside your womb.

Partial molar pregnancy:
A partial molar pregnancy occurs when you have one egg but two sperms penetrated that egg. During the development and cell duplication process, a severe abnormality of the developing embryo occurred. Therefore with a partial molar pregnancy you could have a uterine mole containing no heartbeat, but may have some baby parts such as hair, teeth, bone, amniotic fluid, placenta parts all balled up into a grape like structure.

Molar pregnancy symptoms:
What symptoms might you be experiencing that may indicate you could have a molar pregnancy developing? With a molar pregnancy you produce an excess amount of pregnancy hormones which gives you many exaggerated symptoms of pregnancy. Molar pregnancy signs and symptoms may include one or more of the following:
Excessive morning sickness.
Your breasts grow quickly and are very tender.
Your womb is bigger than the gestational age of your pregnancy.
You have a lot more pressure symptoms in your pelvic area.
On blood work your pregnancy hormones are much higher than the expected range for your pregnancy age and they are rising faster than the normal pregnancy pattern.
An ultrasound shows no babys heart beat and a grape like structure growing instead.

Treatment for molar pregnancy:
Many times molar pregnancies are absorbed inside the body themselves. This can take a couple of weeks to a couple of months for it to happen as the body absorbs the mole.

You may end up having a cleaning out of your womb with a dilatation and curettage where your doctor will can scrape out the inside of the womb. The problem with a molar pregnancy is that even with a dilatation and curettage, it may be impossible to clean out the route of the mole that have imbedded into the muscles of your womb. The good thing is that over time the body will absorb the remaining parts of the molar pregnancy.

As long as there are small branches of your molar pregnancy embedded in the muscles of your womb you will produce pregnancy hormones. This may give you molar pregnancy symptoms for months after diagnosis or treatment.

The most important thing for you to do when managed for a molar pregnancy is to take self-responsibility and make sure you do not become pregnant for a least one year after a molar pregnancy diagnosis. If you do become pregnant again, you are at risk of developing uterine cancer and you may have a disaster pregnancy on your hands.

Your physician may insist on you taking birth control pills or injections to ensure no new pregnancy occurs, as you do not want to have a diagnosis of cancer within the months following a molar pregnancy.

Having one molar pregnancy does not mean you will have another one. We never know the outcome of any pregnancy, as all pregnancies are completely different. Having a history of a molar pregnancy does mean you should see it as a warning sign for both yourself and your partner to eat healthier and supplement daily with high quality vitamins, minerals and antioxidants to prevent production of internal bodily toxins affecting eggs or sperms.

Many times people get caught up with the severity of abnormality of a molar pregnancy and fail to realize the emotional devastation a woman goes through in losing her pregnancy. To a woman a pregnancy means a baby. On top of this, molar pregnancy symptoms may last for months and be very hard to cope with. A woman may feel she has this alien growing inside of her and be emotionally traumatized by the frequent blood tests and ultrasounds needed in the year following diagnosis of a molar pregnancy.

You may even experience pregnancy loss grief and if so please seek professional support. If you want a baby then be positive for having a future healthy pregnancy and when that pregnancy occurs please go and be examined as soon as you discover you are pregnant. Early examination is important to monitor your hormone level and perform ultrasounds.

For molar pregnancy phone grief support please visit http://www.PregnancySuccessCoach.com.

Healthy Pregnancy Is What Every Pregnant Woman Wants. Tips On What You Can Do To Have A Healthy Pregnancy.

Under normal pregnancy circumstances, about 25% of woman are going to miscarry, or lose their baby, within the first twelve weeks of pregnancy. Read on to see what you can do to prevent this happening to you and have a healthy pregnancy.

Having a healthy pregnancy starts with preparing your body for this incredible cycle of pregnancy well before you become pregnant. A defective egg or sperm has a huge part to play in the reason why so many women miscarry. Defective eggs or sperms are a direct result of insufficient vitamins, minerals and antioxidants in the body.

Healthy pregnancy preparation will reduce your risk of congenital abnormalities, miscarriages and going into labor early. Pregnancy is far more than a physical process that happens to a woman. It has an incredible mental, emotional, spiritual and energetic side to it. In order to have a healthy pregnancy you must embrace pregnancy from a holistic body, mind, and spirit perspective.

Eat healthy:
If you have just found out you are pregnant and want to have a healthy pregnancy then you must start with eating very healthier. Be very conscious to make sure you include fruit and vegetables and high protein foods into your diet and eating three meals a day. Pregnancy does not require that you eat for two, but does require that you are very conscious about the quality of food you eat, making sure the food you eat for your baby is of high quality and nutritious.

Set up your prenatal appointment:
Having a healthy pregnancy also includes early prenatal care. As soon as you know you are pregnant, set up your appointment with your doctor or midwife.

Start multivitamins and minerals:
As soon as you know you are pregnant start taking a multivitamin plus an extra folic acid (400 micrograms) until you obtain your prescription for your prenatal vitamins. Many multivitamins and prenatal vitamins do not contain all the minerals that are required on a daily basis to maintain optimal health. Also add a good quality mineral to your pre natal vitamins. Minerals are the building blocks for a healthy pregnancy.

Prevent dehydration:
Having a healthy pregnancy requires that you prevent dehydration. Drink at least eight to ten glasses of water every day. A dehydrated body can cause pregnancy complications. Pregnancy requires extra water intake as by the time you are thirty four weeks pregnant your blood volume will have increased by forty percent.

Start exercising:
Healthy pregnancy requires that you adjust your body to all the necessary changes that are needed to grow a healthy baby. Exercise will help increase your body stamina. If your are not used to exercising, then start doing a little bit of walking even if it is for 10 minutes everyday. If you exercise regularly continue your exercise program as long as you do not become breathless. Shortness of breath reduces the oxygen supply to your baby and is not conducive to a healthy pregnancy.

Pregnancy is much more than a physical process. Embracing pregnancy from the mind, body and spirit prospective will enhance your possibility of having a healthy pregnancy. What can you do regarding the aspect of the mind to help you have a healthy pregnancy? Everything that you think, say, and do during your pregnancy has a profound effect on your unborn child for life. Every time you think a positive thought, your baby is going to pick up that information from you and end up been a very positive person. Worrying and complaining during your pregnancy will feed your baby negative thoughts. You might have a healthy pregnancy but with an emotionally scarred baby.

It is very important for your baby to be mindful of what you say, do, and think during your pregnancy. Learn how to connect and communicate with the emotions of your unborn child to have a healthy pregnancy and a healthy baby. Generally, the more you are informed and educated about all the dynamics of pregnancy, the likelihood is that you will have a healthier pregnancy outcome and a healthier baby.

Learn more how you can communicate with the emotions of your unborn child and pick up a FREE GIFT to support you during your pregnancy visit click on http://www.PregnancySuccessCoach.com

<link rel='alternate' type='text/html' href='http://pregnancysuccesscoachblog.blogspot.com/2008/08/healthy-pregnancy-is-what-every.html' title='Healthy Pregnancy Is What Every Pregnant Woman Wants. The stress of sudden weight gain during the short cycle of pregnancy can cause back pain and pregnancy misery.

Pregnancy posture change:
Pregnancy and lower back pain happens because of pregnancy weight gain and the automatic adjustments your body makes in posture to accommodate the growing womb. This change in posture is called pregnancy lordosis. Upper and lower back pain and pregnancy lordosis go hand in hand because your spine becomes super curved, elongated, and your breast and buttocks stick out which create a huge pull and stretch on your muscles.

Pregnancy hormones:
On top of this, back pain and pregnancy go hand in hand because of the higher levels of pregnancy hormones you produce. Pregnancy hormones have a relaxing effect on many of the muscles in your body to accommodate the muscle stretching that is required during pregnancy. Relaxed muscles are not as supportive to the spine and abdominal muscles. Therefore many women complain of back pain and pregnancy shoulder stress.

Pregnancy pelvic changes:
The female pelvis is made up of many different bones. When you get towards the end of your pregnancy, a baby cannot fit to a normal-sized woman’s pelvis without the pelvis opening and expanding. The pelvis has two major joints; one towards the right and one towards the left of your lower back along with a hinge joint at the very tail end of your spine.

Back pain and pregnancy ligament pulling and stretching is a direct result of your pelvis opening which will allow your babys head to engage or enter into the cavity of your pelvis. Pregnancy and lower back pain is also caused by the excess pressure felt deep within your pelvis as your baby sits and waits for labor to commence.

All of these factors taken together, it is not unusual for pregnant women to get backaches. So if you get a backache straight away start doing things to prevent your backache from getting worse or getting out of control.

How to help minimize symptoms associated with pregnancy and lower back pain:
I definitely recommend having nice warm bath soaks, putting nice warm compresses on your back, or even better still having back massages to help with your pregnancy and lower back pain.

I would absolutely recommend that every pregnant woman go to see a chiropractor during pregnancy. A lot of traditional obstetrician, gynecologist and midwives are a little afraid of sending the women to a chiropractor because they are just not informed as to what chiropractors actually do. A chiropractor can help your spine accommodate easier to all the posture changes that happens during your pregnancy and relieve pain associated to pulled and stressed muscles associated to pregnancy and lower back pain.

Apart from that, let us look at what things can you do to your own body to help minimize back pain and pregnancy. Wearing a good supporting bra during your pregnancy will support the increased breast weight and uplift your breasts so they do not feel so heavy. This will alleviate a lot of the upper back stress associated with pregnancy and lower back pain.
There are also a lot of pregnancy stomach binders that have been created to help support the weight of your growing womb which can help relieve back pain and pregnancy ligament discomfort.

Many women are focused on fashionable shoes and wear ridiculous footwear during pregnancies that do not support their posture and feet. I cannot believe how many pregnant women out there are wearing ridiculously high shoes or low shoes. Remember, as you become more and more pregnant all the bones and muscles within your feet are stressed.

Take a good look at the shoes you are wearing during your pregnancy and ask yourself these questions to evaluate the importance of your feet:
Do your shoes have a good supportive arch in them?
Are your shoes nice and wide to accommodate the increasing growth and widening of my foot associated to extra blood volume and swelling that occurs during pregnancy?
Can your foot easily slip out of your shoe? If so you could trip and fall and injure yourself or your baby.

The more informed you are about pregnancy, than the better choices you will make. Better choices mean a happier healthier mom and baby. Pregnancy can be an extraordinary experience for a woman. It is far more than growing a baby and understanding pregnancy and lower back pain.

Pregnancy has a huge emotional, mental, spiritual, and energetic side to it. AF arrived today and at first I tried to stay positive but I'm only human and the sadness is starting to kick in now. That being said I trust God 100% and I know everything happens for a reason and I will never give up hope. I have never been pregnant. Not once have I ever gotten a BFP. I want so very much to be a mommy. I've been TTC for about 2 years now though I was not doing anything special like charting or checking temps or monitoring CM. I was just going about it the natural way. I don't want to get into all that though because I believe it would stress me out way too much to dwell on it every day with the taking temps and checking CM and all that. But I did decide to keep a simple chart on fertility friend. Any advice would be greatly appreciated.

I am a nurse midwife myself. Coming from a large Irish family, I never envisioned that getting pregnant would be a challenge. Like many women struggling with infertility, I tried month after month for ten long years to get pregnant. Finally at the age of 38, the miraculous event happened naturally on its own.
For me pregnancy was one of the most amazing experiences that I as a woman could go through. During early pregnancy I made a conscious decision to be a stay at home mom. Like many women I worried about money, wondering how I was going to afford to give up my high paying midwifery career and be a stay at home mom.
Sixteen weeks into my pregnancy tragedy struck when my growing baby died and I had to undergo an induced mini-labor to complete the miscarriage process. This miscarriage experience helped me to understand the powerful effect our thoughts, words and actions can have on our unborn child, and the outcome of our pregnancy. Like many couples, my insurance plan at the time did not cover infertility treatments. Financially, paying out of pocket was not an option. A sad situation for many couples!
After my miscarriage, I felt her biological clock ticking and with a turn in events, my insurance plan finally changed providing a limited coverage for infertility. This enabled me to seek assistance from an infertility specialist to become pregnant.
I was fully confident in my assumption that my fertility treatments would work. Six months later, after numerous doctor visits, injections, blood tests, ultrasounds, three failed attempts of intra uterine insemination, while in the middle of an IVF cycle, I was diagnosed with premature ovarian failure (premature menopause) and was removed from the infertility program.
On top of this I was then informed that I would never have a biological child unless a miracle happened. Both myself and my husband walked away from the clinic that day in total devastation thinking all our hopes and dreams of being parents were gone. What saddened me more was maybe i was to blame for loosing my one and only opportunity of being a mom because I worried about money.
I had to accept that I may be childless, but on the other hand I felt deep inside that I would have a child, despite the medical picture that was painted. I decided to do personal research about vitamins, minerals and body detoxification to help increase the production of her eggs. The research and nutritional supplement program I devised worked, and at the age of 41, I had her first son. To add to the miracle my second son arrived 17 months later.
Come on over to my web site and request a FREE copy of my e-book Birth, A Conscious Choice, which is great reading for someone like yourself wanting to be pregnant. Now 6 months are up...tried...got pregnant and miscarried again for no reason. My doc. is making me take one aspirin everyday and hopefully if I get pregnant again...she is putting me on progesterone pills, going nuts and totally stressed!!! Any advice from anyone out there?
No two pregnancies are alike. You were unlucky with your molar pregnancy and then another miscarriage.

Pregnancy after miscarriage comes with concerns that another miscarriage will happen. This is normal but may even cause another miscarriage. Regardless of your obstetrical history it is very important not to worry and have as little stress as possible. I am 41 years old with two teen-agers. I had an Ablation done in 2002 and since then have had absolutely no periods. I recently found out that I am pregnant. I went yesterday for an ultra-sound and the technician said there was no heartbeat and the sac was elongated, leading her to believe that the pregnancy may not be viable. My ob/gyn called this morning to schedule a follow up ultrasound in one week to see if there is any change, but prepared me that considering the high risk situation of a pregnancy post ablation, I would likely end up miscarrying. My question is, would I still be experiencing all the symptoms of early pregnancy, i.e. fatigue, nausea, breast tenderness, if there was no heartbeat or no actual pregancy that was viable?

Sorry to hear about your situation. Even though you have no heartbeat you could be still producing small amounts of pregnancy hormones, normally they are not high enough to create pregnancy symptoms.

Sounds like you have had a missed abortion, meaning you were pregnant and the baby for whatever reason did not grow. Sometimes the body absorbs the pregnancy itself. I am sure your doctor will monitor your blood pregnancy hormone level along with the ultrasound follow up.
My book may be very comforting for you at this time as no matter what when you are informed you are pregnant even though it looks like it is non viable you will go through some emotional trauma. Start reading some pregnancy books, I would recommend Birth, a Conscious Choice as it will allow you to have a different view point towards your pregnancy.

Pregnancy gestational diabetice.

I am now 26 weeks pregnant and have just learned I have gestational diabetes. I was cramping the last 2 days and didnt think anything of it because I wasnt bleeding, but then it started. I was spotting and I went to see my OB on an emergency visit, and he did an u/s and saw that the placenta is underneath 'Raspberry' and that I have Placenta Previa. How are you feeling about things? Im a little scared because I dont know what to expect. I dont want to stress myself over this but I really hope this fixes itself. How many weeks where you when you got your diagnosis. 18w4d

A question you should ask your doctor is " where exactly is my placenta located? Does it cover the entire neck of the womb ( cervix)?" You are still early in pregnancy and if you placenta is not covering the entire neck of the womb then as your womb grows it may grow to the side. If it is covering the entire neck of the womb or cervix then you are certainly high risk for hemorrhage as you womb grows.

I have managed many women with placenta previa and because we as health care providers know your risk factor we take extra caution with you.

For now my advise is not to have any sex for the pregnancy as you do not want to stimulate bleeding and if the spotting continues rest in bed.

Pregnancy and smoking.

smoking... i know all the dangers...to smoking while pregnant... i talked to my doctor...my doctor said quitting while pregnant can make me miscarry...and not quitting and do the same...i need some advise from someone who knows

Every piece of research done on smoking during pregnancy all agree it is bad for your baby. Decide you are going to stop and maybe get the help of a stop smoking hypnotherapist.
Your baby’s future depends on you. If you can not stop smoking then cut them down as much as you can. Just imagine your baby is inside you attached to a life support machine, which is you. The umbilical cord is the oxygen line and every time you smoke your are suffocating your baby for hours. Sorry to be so blunt but this is the case. You only have this one opportunity to grow your baby so be mindful.

If I have not pushed you over the edge then come over to my wen site where for a limited time only, I am giving away e-copies of my amazing book that is perfect for pregnancy. The doctor told me I should wait to have two normal periods before having unprotected sex again. Well, the first month we used protection but the second month we ummm....didn't have a condom one night and ....let's just say the mood took over all logical reasoning. Anyhoo, my thought was that if God wanted me to be pregnant right away than everything would be okay. Well, here it is almost 2 weeks later and I am extremely exhausted, my nipples are tingly, I have wicked acne on my chin, and i'm always hungry. These are the same early symptoms i had before. I would be shocked if i were to have gotten pregnant this quickly as it took my DH and I 1 year to conceive our last one.My question is this: Has any one out there who've had a miscarriage gotten pregnant right away and carried it successfully? or not? ALso, were you nervous that it was going to happen again and how did you deal with that? Thanks

Pregnancy after miscarriage is a common concern for many women that had a miscarriage. Read on to see what you can do to create a more successful pregnancy after a miscarriage.
20 -25% of all pregnancies end in a miscarriage. No two pregnancies are alike. Each pregnancy is a unique experience for a woman and the incoming child so we cannot compare one pregnancy to another. The success rate of a pregnancy after a miscarriage can be increased with these following tips:
Be nutritionally healthier prior to and during pregnancy. From the moment of conception your unborn child needs to constantly multiply every cell in their body to grow every organ and structure to be normal. The most common cause of an early miscarriage is an abnormal baby resulting from a defective egg or sperm. These issues are easily corrected to prevent a recurrent miscarriage. It is not good enough to just eat healthier as most of the food we eat lacks basic nutrition and minerals. But it is essential to take in a high quality supplement of vitamins and minerals that has a great absorption rate. A nutritionally healthy body will make your pregnancy after miscarriage stronger.
Keep your body constantly detoxified will also prevent miscarriages and make pregnancy after miscarriage easier. Many people are unaware that their bodies are in a constant toxic state unless they are taking antioxidants on a daily basis. Toxins can destroy healthy cells including the female egg, the male sperm and the growing fetus. Toxins comes from the following
Pesticides on the fruit and vegetables we eat unless they are organic.
Additives and preservatives in our foods.
Pollution in the air we breathe.
Chemicals in the water we drink.
From within our own bodies, for example every time we work out we generate free radicals that are toxic to our bodies.
Medication we take.
60% of all pregnancies are unplanned and when a pregnant woman has ambivalence about her pregnancy it increases the chances of a miscarriage. Therefore, if you want to have a successful pregnancy, immediately accept this baby.
Listen to your body. If your body is telling you to take it easy and not to have intercourse during your pregnancy, then listen to your own inner guidance. Pregnancy is much more than a physical and emotional process. Pregnancy takes a tremendous amount of energy from the mother as so many things happen to the mother and the incoming baby all at the same time. Going against your inner guidance can off set a normal pregnancy.
Pregnancy after miscarriage comes with concerns that another miscarriage will happen. This is normal but may even cause another miscarriage. Regardless of your obstetrical history it is very important not to worry and have as little stress as possible. Be positive and bond with your baby. Let your baby know he or she is loved and wanted.
If you are having a hard time getting over the loss of your miscarried baby then maybe you might want to consider some energetic healing-coaching over the telephone with me. I have helped so many women turn the corner of miscarriage grief so their life is less saddened. For information about a high quality vitamin, mineral and mangosteen product and my book Birth, A Conscious Choice.

Worrying during pregnancy is not a good thing. This pregnancy has been like a horror movie since the day I found out.. I had a AWESOME job making good money, then all the sudden I got very ill in my first trimester.. needing to be in the hospital for at least 2 out of the first 3 months. I would go in, they would keep me for 4-5 days, let me out.. only to have me completely dehydrate and have to go back in. Needless to say I lost my job. After the sickness started to settle.. my dear aunt whom I was very close to passed away very suddenly, then 4 weeks later.. my grandmother whom i lived with my whole life passed as well. OK so now we have 3 months of total sickness, followed by two close deaths in the family... oh and the lost job....well on top of all of that I AM JUST SCARED!!!!!!!!!

I have not felt ANY connection to this pregnancy once so ever, maybe once in a while when I feel her move I get the ahhh feeling but not so much. My husband and I have NOT been getting along at all!!! I just feel no connection to anyone... I feel completely alone and scared, and I dont know where it is all coming from. I know emotions run high during pregnancy but this is OUT OF CONTROL... I dont know if I am pushing everyone away and just assumming they don't care or if in fact they don't !!!! I feel the worse for my two other children my daughter especially .. she gets the brunt of the anger and frustration, and although she is a preteen and drives me slightly insane with the head and neck rolls..lol for the most part she really does try to help out, but I get so frustrated with her so quickly!!There is just so much to this whole situation but the main problem is I AM PREGNANT AND FEEL CRAZY... I Cry nonstop, I feel like the whole world is against me, and I have NO ONE.. Not to mention I have this overwhelming fear of dying from this childbirth. WHAT IS GOING ON.????... I just want to feel and look normal again. If this continues I am certain something horrible is going to happen.any ideas please let me know.thank you and sorry for the long post.

It is always great to vent. The Doctors and everyone keeps saying they are "Normal", but is there someone else out there that has had even one when they are pregnant? This is my first pregnancy, I have never known that I had them and I am wondering what will occur during the pregnancy because of them?

The doctor has stated that they are away from the baby and I am 10 weeks now and they are also growing. Anyone who I explain this to again states it is common and I ask them if they had them during their pregancy and I have not been told yes yet. I would appreciate any information, when I look it up opn the computer it just gives me the basics and I would like to know if somone who had them could help. I know every preganacy is different but I already feel more pressure than usual (not sure b/c 1st pregnancy). I didn't have much pressure and was not showing and in a week there is a lot of pressure and my stomach is begining to stick out. THANKS IN ADVANCE TO ANYONE WHO CAN HELP!!!

I am a nurse midwife and have specialized in high-risk pregnancies for over twenty years. I have taken care of several women with fibroids ranging for the size of grapes to big grapefruits.
Please do not worry many times the fibroids grow initially in pregnancy and then stop. Sometimes they grow and your body and baby just accommodate them. The fact that you are ten weeks is too early to be so worried. Everything you think, say and do effects the emotions of your unborn child.
It is normal for you to have a bit more pressure if the fibroids are big. A good question to ask your doctor in the morning on the phone is exactly what size they are. It also depends on how thick the underwear is. Remember, sperm are so tiny that they can not been seen with the naked eye. After all there are 300-million of them in each ejaculation. They are much smaller than the point on the finest needle so of course they can swim and travel through clothing and loose material. It just means they have many more obstacles and it will take longer than the 10 hours to make the marathon swim from the vagina up into the fallopian tube to penetrate the woman’s egg.

Pregnancy and miscarriage.

Well where shall i start 2 weeks ago i was taken into hospital due to bleeding and was told i had a miscarriage....The 2 days after that i had a internal scan and there was a feotus heartbeat :s (which is obviously really good)And then today i had to go hospital again due to stomach pains whats is going on???Can someone please help as im so scared that ill go to my next scan and there not be a heartbeat i know i shoud think positively but its just so hard !!!
First of all calm down, take some deep breaths and let nature take its course. It is not unusual to have cramps early in pregnancy as your uterus is growing. It is certainly an indication that your should take it easy.

Very early ultrasounds are tricky. The results of your ultrasound depends on the exact weeks and days since your last period and on how full your bladder is and to give the ultrasound technician a good view. If you are six weeks pregnant there will be a heartbeat. A five week and 5 days ultrasound there may not be a heartbeat so.
So the last ultrasound said you have a viable pregnancy so keep your mind focused on this. Did they do an ultrasound today?

Pregnancy Symptoms but negative pregnancy test.

Hi all! I am new to this site and am kind of confused by what is going on with my body. I was on a lo dose BC pill and went off of it over a month ago now. Since then my hubby and I have been 'trying' to get a baby. I have been charting. My temps have been steadily increasing for about 10 days now, I am officially 4 days late with my period and have had some early pregnancy symptoms. My knipples are darker and seem to be getting bigger, I've been tired, my boobs feel fuller and I've felt dizzy on a couple of occassions. I've also had some cramps that were not because of my period.I have taken an hpt and it came back neg. Any thoughts?

Could I be preggers so soon or could it be that my body is just getting used to being off the pill? (I've gone off the pill before and nothing changed, including when I got my period.)Any insight or help!?!??!?! PLEASE!? It's driving both myself and my hubby crazy not knowing what's up!
My advice to anyone coming off hormonal birth control is to give your body three month before you start to try and get pregnant. Your body will adjust easier to pregnancy if you have your own natural hormones functioning properly.

You have all the symptoms of pregnancy and if your temperature is only up for ten days then wait another four-days and re take a pregnancy test. You may have ovulated later than you think.
My web site has a lot of articles about pregnancy and pregnancy symptoms. The doctor told me she did not think I was pregnant!! But what is wrong with me? Any advice would be great!!
Well you have to go with the results of the pregnancy tests, as they are very accurate. Sounds like you are going through a tuff time in your life. Lack of sleep is a huge indication that your body is out of alignment.

Try to take your mind off these symptoms and focus your energy into something else. It's not a lot, but enough that I noticed. It ranges from clear, to white, to yellowish. Is it normal to leak already? i have heard of this right before giving birth, but not at 30 weeks. I am already at high-risk for pre-term labor, is this a sign that I will deliver early?

Please do not worry. Leaking from the breasts during pregnancy is normal. You are producing a lot of pregnancy hormones and sometimes your breasts are stimulated to produce cholostrum (the name for the first form of milk). Some women leak when they have a lot of breast stimulation by their partners.
If you bra starts to become soiled then buy some breast pads for the baby supply store to catch the excess and save yourself embarrassing situations.
Worrying during pregnancy is not a good thing. I'm now experiencing cramps, fatigue, the feeling of being constipated and most annoyingly, bloating. I say annoying because i suddenly cannot wear my jeans of 4 years!!! it's tight around the tummy... I'm really hoping there's some good news... and can't wait to check. But the waiting is killing me...

Go out and buy a pregnancy test kit and test your urine first thing in the morning when it is a little more concentrated. If your cycles is about every 28 days then it is a perfect time to test instead of waiting. These day’s pregnancy test kits are very accurate and should test positive on the day your periods are due.

I also agree with others that you could be pre menstrual. Either ways do not give up your hopes, dreams and desire to be a mother. Is it slightly normal or am I just one of those people who have odd things happen to them. Cause I almost have to haunch over just to blow my nose without there being a pull in my abdomen. And I forgot to bring it up to my doctor last visit.

Pregnancy puts a huge strain on every organ and muscle within your body. Blowing your nose or sneezing during pregnancy caused your abdominal muscles to expand. During pregnancy your abdominal muscles grow and stretch a lot. The fact that your body is tensing and you are naturally hunching over is your internal instinct accommodating to pregnancy.

Do not worry, just allow this beautiful process of creating a human being to unfold, adjust and adapt according. No two pregnancies are the same. It is also not unusual to pass a little urine when you sneeze as you get more advanced in pregnancy.
If this post was meaningful to you then visit http://www.pregnancysuccesscoach.com/ for a free gift guiding you through your pregnancy.

Pregnancy and vaginal infection.

I am 24 weeks early in the pregnancy I was diagnosed with a Yeast Infection. I treated it with Monostat 3. For a couple of weeks I feel like I may have one again, because I have severe vaginal itching and discomfort. Today I've experienced some sharp vaginal pains and noticed a slight trace of a brownish discharge on my underwear. Does this sound like a possible bacterial infection or something more serious? I am a little scared.

As a nurse midwife I will tell you not to mess around with any sort of vaginal discharge, vaginal cramps and brown discharge. Looking at the time of this posting it is late and I suggest first thing in the morning you call your OBGYN provider and been examined tomorrow, unless you currently have vaginal cramps during the night then I would call now and make arrangements to been seen tonight.

The fact that your are itching is good as it means you have a vaginal infection and the brown discharge is old blood due to irritation from the vaginal or the neck of the womb. The cramping is worrying as if the infection is very severe and causing internal neck of the womb irritation, it could cause your cervix to dilate and go into pre term labor. This you do not want to happen.
Vaginal itching can occur from a few different types of infections so do not self medicate during pregnancy. Your OBGYN provider is the only one who can accurately evaluate, diagnose and treat your specific infection.

Try to stop worrying and get some sleep. For now my advice is to be excited and welcome this baby into the world as everything we think, say or do effects out unborn child. So be positive, be happy and reassure your baby.

If this post was meaningful to you then visit http://www.pregnancysuccesscoach.com/ for a free gift guiding you through your pregnancy.

Pregnant and working on my feet all day.

I am on my feet all day at my job with no break sometimes. I also have to unpack alot of boxes. I am wondering can being on your feet a lot cause a miscarriage. I am only a couple weeks pregnant but I am still worried. Thanks

Please, please stop worrying. Many women have to work during pregnancy and we have to do the best we can in our given circumstances. Pregnancy is an incredible event for any woman and the outcome of our pregnancy is determines on many factors.
First of all know your baby picked you out of all the mothers in the world to be the best and greatest mother. Your baby is also fully aware of your personal, relationship, financial and work conditions.
Pregnancy is physically, mentally and emotionally challenging for all women and I know when you have to work long hours on your feet all day it can be even more challenging. Many employers lack empathy for pregnant women.

Early pregnancy disability requires that you have a medical problem in order for your OBGYN provider to give it to you. Most times you do not get much money on disability and it can only be for a certain amount of weeks depending on your state laws.

You could however speak to your OBGYN provider and ask for a not for work to be reassigned job positions where you are not lifting heavy boxes, and we are more than willing to make such requests. However this then puts your employer in a difficult position and he may have to let you go if he can not reassign you.

Focus on having a wonderful healthy pregnancy and baby. Connect with your unborn child as they can be emotionally traumatized by our stress and worry.
If this post was meaningful to you then visit http://www.pregnancysuccesscoach.com/ for a free gift guiding you through your pregnancy.

Pregnancy eating habits can they affet my childs eating patterns.

I hate green veggies. I eat corn and potatoes and that's it. I have tried them, I don't like them. Fresh, cooked, any way you want to prepare them I'm not a fan. I'm also 30 weeks pregnant. I'm afraid I'm going to pass on my veggie dislike to my baby, because I've heard that the baby can taste things through the amniotic fluid now. What if she never gets to taste peas and then doesn't like them later on?

My mother will eat anything and did so while pregnant with me, and she said I ate whatever she fed me when I was a baby. It wasn't until I was 4 or 5 that I began to refuse things. My boyfriend is also very concerned that my eating habits will affect the baby.
I take my prenatal, I get lots of fruits, plenty of dairy, I eat lots of chicken (only a little red meat); I am almost perfectly balanced, just without the veggies. I had an ultrasound at 29 weeks and they said the baby was 2lb 12oz, which is in the 51% for her gestational age, which means I must be doing something right, right? My question is am I running the risk of having another picky eater, or am I paranoid?

First of all stop worrying. Your baby has picked you out of all the mothers in the world to be the most perfect mother in the world for your child. As long as you are eating high quality protein and mineral rich foods and the baby is growing nicely then stop worrying.
I am a certified nurse midwife myself and was born and raised in Ireland where we basically ate potatoes and carrots plus a little meat. As an adult it has been very hard to acquire the eating desire for a range of vegetables. Yes I advise all my clients to eat their fruit and vegetables as any good midwife would do, but I am also a realist. Make it easy for yourself, if you are not eating correctly then supplement. In fact everyone should be supplementing as out fruit and vegetables are depleted of minerals.
I have two healthy boys and we still do not eat much vegetables. I do not sweat it out as both my boys and myself supplement with high quality vitamins and minerals so we get at least 12 vitamins, 65 minerals and high antioxidants on a daily basis which is a lot more than most kids get.
If this post was meaningful to you then visit http://www.pregnancysuccesscoach.com/ for a free gift guiding you through your pregnancy.

Pregnancy question about my girlfriend.

Ok, so my girlfriend had sex at least 2 months ago (before we started going out) with someone without using protection or anything. Since then, she has had her period and everything. Also recently, she has had to do allergy tests, where they stick needles in you to figure out your allergies. She was also rushed to a hospital recently because of an asthma attack, and they gave her morphine and stuff when she was in the ER.Now recently, she took a pregnancy test out of randomness and it came back positive. She took four more; two positive, two negative. She took one more after that and it was negative. Note that she has had her period in the last two weeks.Could the tests have said positive because of the allergy shots? I find it hard to believe it would be positive if she has had her period recently.

First of all lets get it straight. Your girlfriend had a period after her last boyfriend so therefore she was not pregnant by him. However she has shown to have a positive pregnancy test since your relationship which means you got her pregnant. She has had a period since the positive pregnancy then this is what we called a missed abortion, meaning she was pregnant but it did not grow correctly so she bled it out in her periods.
My advice to you is to get her on contraception and you to be more diligent and responsible to use condom every time you are fooling about or else you may have a child on the way. Ask yourself are you ready to be a father at this point and commit to this woman for life!

Pregnancy Test results confusion.

My husband and I have been trying to conceive for the past 2 months or so now. I have no idea when I ovluate so I have been doing fertility tests everday around the same time to figure out if I am or not. I have also been taking a couple random pregnancy tests here and there just to see, but not really thinking that it would come out positive ever because I havent missed a period yet, but it would be a really nice surprise. So here is the thing, for the past week, I have been taking both fertility and pregancy tests.

The fertility tests just showed for the past 2 days a very faint line in the positive area, but today it was very strong, so I must be ovluating. BUT the pregnancy tests have ALSO been having a faint line in the positive area that gets a tiny bit stronger every day? I know I have read before on the instructions on the boxes to dismiss a faint positive line, it should be very strong or stronger than the test strip. I was wondering what the chances are that I am giving off a positive for both the fertility AND the pregnancy tests? Does this or has this happened to anyone elseAny help sure would be appreciated. I know time will be the true test & I dont want to get too excited, but I just cant help it!

Well congratulations you are pregnant. A faint line on a pregnancy test strip means you are producing the pregnancy hormone that these kits are designed to detect. At this point do not waste any more money on pregnancy test kits and self-testing. I would not worry about how strong the line is but would make arrangement to see your OBGY primary care provider.
By the way did you know your urine is more concentrated with the pregnancy hormone first thing in the morning especially if you have not passed urine for at least six hours and this is the preferred time to test.
If there is any question as to the viability of your pregnancy then your OBGYN provider will order a pregnancy blood hormone level test on two separate days to make sure your hormones are climbing at the rate they should be.
For now my advice is to be excited and welcome this baby into the world as everything we think, say or doe effects out unborn child. So be positive, be happy and see where life leads you.
If this post was meaningful to you then visit http://www.pregnancysuccesscoach.com/ for a free gift guiding you through your pregnancy.

Pregnancy size, I am worried I am not showing.

I am a little worried, I am 16 weeks and I am barely showing yet, I went for an ultrasound and the tech said that the baby was measuring a little small, but no problems. I am normally 5 ft 3in and 115 pounds. So not sure if that has something to do with it. Advise anyone?

As everyone is advising you please do not worry. Most women are unaware that when we worry this stress is picked up by our unborn child and if not released can affect your child for life. So please just focus on connecting and falling more and more in love with this incredible being growing inside of you.

From my midwifery experience someone that is 5 ft 3 inches, weighing 115 pounds and gained five pounds since pregnancy then this is fantastic! Well done! You are on target. At this point in your pregnancy your abdominal muscles are still very firm and this is why you are not showing so much. Within the next four weeks you will start to see a nice bump growing as your baby will undergo rapid growth from this point onwards.
Your estimated date of your delivery may change depending on ultrasound findings and if you have had a previous ultrasound to correlate dates and growth. It is not unusual for the ultrasound to be off by a week or so. The purpose of an ultrasound at 16 weeks is to confirm dates and check the anatomy of the baby. It sounds like your baby is totally normal so sit back, enjoy motherhood.
If this post was meaningful to you then visit http://www.pregnancysuccesscoach.com/ for a free gift guiding you through your pregnancy.

Pregnancy CD

Communicate With the Emotions Of Your Unborn Child
Pregnancy CD.
You Are Guaranteed To Experience A Profound Emotional And Spiritual Connection With Your Unborn Child While Listening To This Incredible Guided Imagery Pregnancy CD! Read on to discover why fatigue and pregnancy go hand in hand and what you can do to make sure you are not nutritionally depleted but have normal fatigue during pregnancy.

Pregnancy is an amazing event in a woman’s life. No matter how long or how hard we study pregnancy we will never fully understand why women get fatigue in early pregnancy.

Fatigue and pregnancy go hand in hand caused by the growing baby:
From the moment of conception, the developing fetus needs lots of vitamins and minerals to ensure normal cell and organ growth and to prevent congenital abnormalities. As the developing fetus grows it also grows a living organ called the placenta. The placenta allows vitamins, minerals, antioxidants, oxygen, nutrients, hormones and blood to cross from the mother’s blood supply to the developing fetus. This requires a lot of physical energy and if you are nutritionally depleted it can cause fatigue in early pregnancy.

Mothers are care-givers by nature and during pregnancy they unconditionally, and continuously give all their reserve nutrients to their offspring in an attempt to grow a healthy baby. Under normal pregnancy this is be a huge physical drain on the mother’s physical energy level and this is why pregnant women are given pre-natal vitamins to try to prevent some of the fatigue in early pregnancy.

A double dose of fatigue during pregnancy caused by an unhealthy nutritional reserve:
Prior pregnancy many men and women are depleted in vitamins and minerals because of our lifestyles and the food we eat. Vitamins and minerals are essential in building healthy cells and organs. Many miscarriages are caused by abnormal eggs and sperms due to the lack of adequate vitamins and minerals in the cells prior to conception.

A body lacking vitamins and minerals is in a depleted state which can cause physical disease, irritability, depression and excess fatigue in early pregnancy.

What to do to minimize pregnancy fatigue:
Pregnant women need more sleep than normal as when they sleep there is less physical stress on the mother’s body. Therefore, sleep gives the mother a better chance of adjusting to all the demands of pregnancy, and helps minimize fatigue during pregnancy.

It is very important as soon as you know you are pregnant to take vitamins and minerals, especially folic acid (600-micrograms) as folic acid helps prevent congenital abnormalities. If you are not already supplementing your diet with vitamins and minerals, then purchase some until you have an appointment with your health care provider to help prevent some of your pregnancy fatigue.

Better still, if you are planning to get pregnant, start supplementing your diet with vitamins and minerals to make your body more nutritionally sound, reduce miscarriage risk and reduce the degree of fatigue in early pregnancy.

OK I have spoken a lot about vitamins, minerals and antioxidants and you may be wondering how could you be nutritionally depleted or even be tired if you already supplement. Well the truth is most people supplement with vitamins only and they supplement with a pill delivery system which has a very poor absorption rate. The best way to supplement is a liquid delivery system which has about a 95% absorption rate. Vitamins alone are not good enough, the body needs minerals for optimal health and minerals are necessary to absorb vitamins.

Pregnancy can be an extraordinary experience for a woman. It is far more than growing a baby and dealing with issues like fatigue. Pregnancy has a huge emotional, mental, spiritual, and energetic side to it. The more you understand these aspects, the easier and less symptomatic your pregnancy will be. Learning how to connect with the emotions of your unborn child will allow you to enhance your pregnancy experience and surrender to its normal physiological process of pregnancy fatigue.

Genuine phone coaching, pregnancy healing, seminars, plus a FREE GIFT to support you during your pregnancy click on pregnancy support.

Pregnancy After Miscarriage. Read on to see what you can do to create a more successful pregnancy after a miscarriage.
20 -25 of all pregnancies are unplanned and when a pregnant woman has ambivalence about her pregnancy it increases the chances of a miscarriage. Therefore, if you want to have a successful pregnancy, immediately accept this baby.

If you are having a hard time getting over the loss of your miscarried baby then maybe you might want to consider some energetic healing-coaching from an energy healer like myself, that can help you turn the corner of miscarriage grief and energetically get you back on track.

Pregnancy can be an extraordinary experience for a woman. Don’t be afraid to ask for help during your pregnancy or request maid cleaning, gift certificate as a great baby shower gift that can be used after having a baby.
Stock your freezer with pre-cooked meals: New moms get hungry at odd hours and it is not unusual to be too tired to cook.

Schedule chiropractic adjustments during the first week post partum: Pregnancy and childbirth moves many of your pelvic bones out of alignment (even if you have a cesarean section birth). Use the expertise of your chiropractor to realign your pelvis, hips and back. This will definitely reduce post partum stress and expedite your post partum recovery.

Have a good supply of large sanitary napkins and adult diapers in your hospital bag and at home. I am not kidding! After pregnancy new moms will experience very heavy bleeding post partum and regular sanitary towels will not do the job. Most hospitals give new moms cheap sanitary towels post partum. This will also save your bed linen from been destroyed.

Sleep when your baby sleeps. As a new mom post partum be prepared to be exhausted. Take every opportunity to sleep whenever your baby sleeps.

Don’t be afraid to cry (and don’t worry about it). Pregnancy, childbirth and post partum results in changing levels of hormones. After childbirth there is a rapid decrease in hormones that occurs approximately on the third, fifth and tenth day. These hormone adjustments can be emotionally challenging for the mother. You may cry for no apparent reason so let it out and know this is all part of a normal pregnancy post partum.

Supplement with vitamins, minerals and antioxidants that are breast-feeding safe: Every organ and system in your body is under a lot of physical stress post partum as they attempt to return to their normal non pregnancy state. High quality vitamins, minerals and antioxidants that are safe for breast-feeding will provide the foundation to prevent post partum complications and result in an overall a better pregnancy experience.

Having a new baby is a wonderful time in a woman’s life. Knowing the above plan ahead and think of ways to support yourself physically, mentally, emotionally and spiritually ahead of time before you are all consumed with your new baby. I am a great believer in the good internal health of the body for optimum health and pretension of stress, sickness, disease and depression. I highly recommend all pregnant and new moms supplement with high quality vitamins, minerals and antioxidants needed to support the many challenges of pregnancy, birth and motherhood.

Motherhood can be an extraordinary, yet exhausting experience for a woman. Pregnancy has a huge emotional, mental, spiritual, and energetic side to it. The more you understand these aspects, the easier and less symptomatic your pregnancy and post partum will be. Learning how to connect with the emotions of your new baby will allow you to enhance your post partum experience and create long term, strong bonding between you and your baby. It will also allow your baby to be more contented and be an easier child to manage.

If you are facing any emotional challenges after having a baby then you are not alone. The post partum is a difficult transition for many women and you many need professional support to stay balanced. Reach out for help if you need it.

For genuine phone post partum coaching, healing and support visit my web site by clicking on post partum support.

Morning Sickness Remedies. Cures And Remedies To Reduce The Misery Of Pregnancy Morning Sickness.

Morning Sickness Remedies. Cures And Remedies To Reduce The Misery Of Pregnancy Morning Sickness.

Pregnancy Morning sickness affects about 50% of pregnant women. Read on for tips on morning sickness cures and remedies for morning sickness making pregnancy a little easier for you and your baby.

What is morning sickness:
Morning sickness is a feeling of been sick to your stomach first thing in the morning when you are pregnancy.

When does morning sickness start:
Most cases of morning sickness starts very early in pregnancy. For some pregnant women it can start as soon as pregnancy occurs.

How long does morning sickness last?
Morning sickness can last from a few hours first thing in the morning to lasting all day. Some pregnant women do not get morning sickness until the middle of the day but it is still called morning sickness.

When will morning sickness end?
Morning sickness ends by about the 12th or 16 week of pregnancy. Unfortunately for some women it can persist for the duration of the pregnancy.

What does morning sickness feel like?
Morning sickness feels like been sick to you’re stomach. Sometimes you feel so sick to your stomach that you feel like you have to throw up. You may spend a while with your head over a vomit bowel and nothing comes out except you are reaching like hell. For other pregnant women they actually throw up. Some women can not hold down any food at all during morning sickness.

What Causes morning sickness?
Up until I experienced my own pregnancies, I was always taught and believed that morning sickness was either hormonal or physiological in nature. I now know differently.
It is partly true that morning sickness is due to hormonal surges but I have my own theory that I would like to share with you. As an energetic healer I had the ability to go within and understand morning sickness from a new prospective.

Looking at the bigger picture, morning sickness has an energetic component. The energetic makeup or feel of the incoming spirit (your baby) may be very different from that of the mother’s. This lack of harmony between the mother’s and the baby’s energetic patterns can literally make the mother physically sick. Morning sickness remedies and morning sickness cures have helped many pregnant women from feeling so awful during the first few weeks or months of pregnancy.

It could be likened to this analogy. Think of someone that makes you uncomfortable when they are in your presence. Now put that person inside your body twenty-four hours a day for a few months and imagine what it would feel like. No wonder pregnant women feel sick and have morning sickness! On the other hand, some women have greater compatibility with the incoming spirit and for them, pregnancy is easier to handle.

Here are some cures and remedies for morning sickness that my clients have tried over the years so see which ones work for you.

Eat a few plain dry crackers 10-15 minutes before getting out of bed in the morning.
Avoid excessive toothpaste as this can aggravate morning sickness.
Eat small amount of food at a time.
Don’t mix liquids with solid foods.
Keep away from strong smells such as perfumes during early pregnancy.
Sleep if you can until the morning sickness passes.
Avoid over crowded warm places.
Sniff fresh lemons or ginger in early pregnancy, essential oils can be used as a substitute.
Drinking soda water or lemonade or watermelon can help.
Salty potato chips or salted crackers can help relieve pregnancy morning sickness.
Have a homeopathy consultation for a pregnancy morning sickness remedy.
Using sea bands for morning sickness or accupressure pregnancy safe adjustable morning sickness wrist bands has been a very effective morning sickness cure for many pregnant women.
Try some morning sickness lollipops specifically designed for pregnancy women.
Purchase a pregnancy relaxation CD to effectively communicate with your unborn child to make the energetic adjustment necessary for a more harmonious connection between the spirit of your incoming you baby and you.
Morning sickness may improve taking some Vitamin B-6, 50 mcgs daily.

Having said all of this morning sickness can be totally exhausting and take the joy away from your pregnancy. If this is your situation, then I urge you to get some help from an energy healer like myself, that can help you have an easier pregnancy.

Learning how to connect with the emotions of your unborn child will allow you to enhance your pregnancy experience and surrender to its normal physiological process of pregnancy morning sickness.

Genuine phone coaching, pregnancy healing, seminars, plus a FREE GIFT to support you during your pregnancy click on pregnancy support.

<link rel='alternate' type='text/html' href='http://pregnancysuccesscoachblog.blogspot.com/2008/05/morning-sickness-survival-tips.html' title='Morning Sickness Remedies. Reassuring Facts About Implantation Bleeding.

Implantation Bleeding During Pregnancy Is Scary. Reassuring Facts About Implantation Bleeding.

Facts about implantation bleeding during pregnancy. Educate yourself about what is implantation bleeding, when does it occur, signs, symptoms and much more.

What is implantation bleeding?
It is not unusual that some women experience implantation bleeding in the early stages of pregnancy. Any bleeding outside implantation bleeding of pregnancy is classified as a threatened miscarriage, meaning the pregnancy is threatening to miscarriage. About 25 of all threatened miscarriages settle down and a normal pregnancy happens.

How long does implantation bleeding last?
Implantation bleeding occurs very early in pregnancy as a direct result of the fertilized egg (your growing baby) burying and snuggling its way into the lining of your womb. Implantation bleeding occurs about 10-14 days after the egg has been fertilized or when conception occurred.

This is also around the time when your menstrual cycles would be expected. Most cases of implantation bleeding last for a few minutes to a few days. If implantation bleeding lasts more than a few days then it may be a sign of infection or a threatened miscarriage.

Signs of Implantation Bleeding:
Signs of implantation bleeding can vary from one pregnant woman to another. It normally mild in nature and is much lighter than a normal menstrual period.

What does implantation bleeding look like?
What implantation bleeding looks like depends on how long it takes from the blood to travel to the outside of your body. The color of implantation bleeding can vary form bright red to brown implantation bleeding. Bright red implantation bleeding means that there is an active area of bleeding within the womb and blood is flowing from the site of implantation to the outside of your body very quickly. It may indicate that implantation has just occurred.

Brown implantation bleeding is the color of old blood. When you get brown implantation bleeding it normally means that when the fertilized egg buried it way into the womb, a little blood was released. The bleeding that occurred at the moment of implantation stayed in the womb for some time so by the time you see it on your underwear or when you wipe yourself it showed up as brown implantation bleeding.

How heavy is implantation bleeding?
Heavy implantation bleeding is unusual. The only thing you might notice with implantation bleeding is a pinkish or brown discharge when you wipe yourself after you go to the bathroom.

Cramps with implantation bleeding:
Cramps with implantation bleeding can happen. You may even experience cramps with or without bleeding. The reason you may experience cramps with implantation bleeding is because as the fertilized egg buries into your womb, it caused the muscle of your womb to contract. These contractions press on nerve endings and may result in mild to moderate menstrual like pains for 24-48 hours.

What to do if you have signs of implantation bleeding:
Do not panic if you have any of the above signs of implantation bleeding. Remember 50% of all cases of implantation bleeding end up in a normal pregnancy.

Know your blood type. Depending on your partners blood type and if you are a rhesus negative blood type then it may be necessary to have an Rh-immune globulin injection within 24 hours of any pregnancy bleeding.

If you suspect you may be pregnant and your bleeding is from implantation bleeding then do a home pregnancy test. This home test should remain positive. If it is positive and you do not know your blood Rhesus factor, then call your provider for consultation for possible Rh-immune globulin.

Never insert a tampon, douche, or have intimacy while you are bleeding.
Keep track of whether the bleeding is increasing or decreasing and how many pads you are using.

If you feel your pregnancy bleeding is heavier or lasting longer than the above ranges then call your health care provider for consultation immediately.

Bleeding during pregnancy is scary. Your personal fear is picked up by your unborn child. Intra uterine fear can stay with your child for a lifetime, so constantly reassure your baby that he or she is wanted and loved.

Pregnancy can be an extraordinary experience for a woman. Everything you think, say or do during your pregnancy has a profound effect on your pregnancy and your unborn child. The outcome of any pregnancy depends on many factors.

Pregnancy has a huge emotional, mental, spiritual, and energetic side to it. The more you understand these aspects, the easier and less symptomatic your pregnancy will be. Learning how to connect with the emotions of your unborn child will allow you to enhance your pregnancy experience and surrender to its normal physiological process and reduce miscarriage potential.

Genuine phone coaching, pregnancy healing, seminars, plus a FREE GIFT to support you during your pregnancy click on pregnancy support.

<link rel='alternate' type='text/html' href='http://pregnancysuccesscoachblog.blogspot.com/2008/05/implantation-bleeding-during-pregnancy.html' title='Implantation Bleeding During Pregnancy Is Scary. Tips To Relieve Your Hemorrhoids In Pregnancy.

Pregnancy Hemorrhoids Are Embarrassing And Painful. Tips To Relieve Your Hemorrhoids In Pregnancy.

Pregnancy hemorrhoids can turn an otherwise healthy pregnancy into a living nightmare. Read on to see why you can do to prevent or relieve your pregnancy hemorrhoids.

As a certified nurse midwife I have treated many cases of pregnancy hemorrhoids. It was not until I personally experienced a small pregnancy hemorrhoid during my own pregnancy that I understood how painful these little monsters can be.

What are pregnancy hemorrhoids:
Hemorrhoids are swollen varicose veins on or around the anus. The veins within the anal canal become swollen because of weakened vein walls allowing blood to pool. This causes the walls of the vein to expand creating the visible ball on the outside of the anus called a hemorrhoid.

What causes hemorrhoids in pregnancy:
Pregnancy requires a woman to increase her total blood volume by 40% to accommodate her growing baby nutrition and circulatory needs. This increase in blood volume requires that the pregnant womans blood vessels relax and expand to hold the extra blood. This is one of the major reasons why pregnant women are prone to blood clots, varicose veins and pregnancy hemorrhoids.

Pregnant women are also prone to constipation due to extra fluid absorption and relaxation of the bowels. Constipation combined with the increased pressure on the rectum and perineum due to the growing baby is another reason for the development of pregnancy hemorrhoids.

Types of hemorrhoids during pregnancy:
Internal hemorrhoids during pregnancy: You can not see or feel these hemorrhoids, but straining or irritation from a passing stool can injure a hemorrhoids delicate surface and cause it to bleed. You may notice small amounts of bright red blood on your toilet tissue or in the toilet bowl water. Because internal anal membranes lack pain-sensitive nerve fibers, these hemorrhoids usually do not cause discomfort. Occasionally, straining can push an internal hemorrhoid through the anal opening. If a hemorrhoid remains displaced (prolapsed), it can cause pain and irritation.

External hemorrhoids during pregnancy: These hemorrhoids tend to be painful. Sometimes blood may pool in an external hemorrhoid and form a clot (thrombus) causing severe pain, swelling and inflammation. When irritated, external hemorrhoids can itch or bleed. The pain of hemorrhoids may be comparable to being stabbed in the rectum by a knife.

What can you do to treat pregnancy hemorrhoids:
The good news is that pregnancy hemorrhoids usually improve after the baby is born. In the meantime, there are a number of things you can do to treat your pregnancy hemorrhoids. Any one or more of the following may help relieve your pregnancy hemorrhoids:
Take a warm bath with baking soda or place baking soda (wet or dry) on the area to reduce itching.
Use witch hazel to reduce swelling or bleeding.
Use Tucks Medicated Pads.
Avoid sitting or standing for long periods.
Drink plenty of fluids.
Drink prune juice.
Do not delay going to the bathroom.
Eat plenty of fruits and vegetables.
If you are suffering very badly from pregnancy hemorrhoids please consult with your obstetric provider for hemorrhoid medication.
If you are very uncomfortable sitting due to rectal pain, a ring with a hole in the center may be very helpful.
Mangosteen and minerals, 2 ounces twice a day has helped many pregnant women relieve inflammation and pain from hemorrhoids during pregnancy. Mangosteen is a fruit that has been used for hundreds of years as an all natural, pregnancy safe anti-inflammatory and a pain blocker. Mangosteen has so many healing properties that it also supports you body with the demands of pregnancy.

Pregnancy can be an extraordinary experience for a woman. Read on to see what you what remedies can be used to help relieve heartburn during pregnancy.

What causes pregnancy heartburn?
Heartburn in early pregnancy is a common complaint. The hormone progesterone is released as soon a woman becomes pregnant and can cause many early pregnancy symptoms which include pregnancy heartburn. Progesterone causes relaxation of the cardiac sphincter of the stomach which is the muscle between the stomach and the esophagus (food pipe). Relaxation of this muscle allows for some gastric acid and food to flow backwards and re-enter the esophagus (food pipe). Gastric acid irritates the lining of the esophagus causing a burning sensation in the center of the chest called pregnancy heartburn.

As your baby grows bigger and takes up more room in the abdominal area, the stomach itself is displaced and squashed. The growing uterus can permanently press on the cardiac sphincter of the stomach and allow gastric juices and food to constantly leak back into the esophagus (wind pipe) which may cause severe heartburn during pregnancy.

Heartburn pregnancy remedies that can help alleviate some of your heartburn during pregnancy:
Pregnancy heartburn relief can be achieved by eating yogurt or drinking a glass of milk.
Try a tablespoon of honey in a glass of warm milk can help with pregnancy heartburn.
Eat smaller more frequent meals throughout the day rather than three large meals.
Avoid spicy, greasy, fatty foods, peppers and tomatoes produce extra gastric acid causing pregnancy heartburn.
Avoid foods that relax the cardiac sphincter of the stomach such as alcohol, peppermint, garlic, and chocolate as they can add to pregnancy heartburn.
Sleeping with extra pillows under your head to keep your stomach lower than your esophagus (food pipe) works very well to give you a better start to the day and a better nights sleep and minimize night time pregnancy heartburn.
Avoid eating for at least two hours before going to bed is also a great suggestion to minimize pain associated with night time heartburn during pregnancy.
Do not lie down after eating to prevent the food from the stomach flowing back into your esophagus causing pregnancy heartburn.
Mild over-the-counter antacids such as Mylanta or Tums may prove helpful in relieving heartburn during pregnancy.
If your pregnancy heartburn symptoms are severe or accompanied by headache or swelling (especially if you are later on in pregnancy) consult with your health care provider immediately as you may have pre-eclampsia of pregnancy.

One of the most effective ways to deal with pregnancy heartburn is to try to prevent heartburn developing in the first place. The healthier you are prior pregnancy and the healthier you eat during pregnancy can have a direct correlation to the amount of pregnancy symptoms you have. Supplement with a high quality vitamins, mineral and antioxidants prior and during pregnancy will correct many misalignments within the body, and encourage the stomach to produce the right amount of gastric acid that you body needs for digestion.

Pregnancy can be an extraordinary experience for a woman. Read on to see what options women have when dealing with pregnancy and constipation.

Constipation and pregnancy is a question many pregnant women have to deal with. Approximately half of all women experience constipation during pregnancy.

Why pregnancy and constipation go hand in hand:
The pregnancy hormone progesterone has a relaxing effect on the intestines and this slows the movement of the bowel causing pregnancy constipation.

The growing fetus needs as much vitamins, minerals and nutrients as possible. Therefore the increasing hormone levels of a pregnant woman cause food to move slower through the bowels. This results in constipation and pregnancy been associated as this is natures way of making sure the growing baby is given an opportunity to absorb extra nutrients.

Pregnant women need extra water for the extra blood volume required for pregnancy. Therefore the mother will absorb more water from the bowel than normal which will result in a harder, dryer bowel movement resulting in constipation during pregnancy.

The longer food stays in the intestines, the more water is reabsorbed from the bowel into the body to accommodate for the extra blood volume required during pregnancy. All prenatal vitamins contain iron, which is known to cause constipation during pregnancy.

As you baby grows, every organ in your abdomen has to move out of its normal position to accommodate the growth and expansion of your womb. The intestines can become squashed, and may not be able to contract in its normal manner as it pushes its contents through loops of bowel. This is another reason why constipation and pregnancy are related.

Pregnancy and constipation relief:
Drink at least 8-10 glasses of good quality purified water a day.
Increase fiber in your diet such as whole grains and brown rice.
Eat more fresh fruit and vegetables, particularly prunes (which can be taken via prune juice).
Peppermint tea or peppermint water can help with gas or bloating pains.
Try to reduce stress in your life as stress can cause constipation.
You may have to switch you prenatal vitamins over to a different brand. Even though they all have iron, some brands may be less pregnancy constipating to you than others.
Add a little more exercise to your daily routine. If you do not normally exercise then start with 10-15 minutes walking every day. If you routinely exercise change your exercise routine slightly to see if you can stimulate bowel activity.
Mangosteen juice has been shown to have a positive effect on all systems of the body including bowel mobility. Mangosteen is a fruit and is very effective in preventing pregnancy complications.
Consult with a homeopath for a pregnancy safe homeopathy remedy for constipation.
Avoid over-the-counter laxatives as they can stimulate uterine contractions resulting in miscarriage or pre-term labor.

Prevention of constipation is the best place to start. Many pregnant clients have experienced a constipation free pregnancy, by understanding the normal physiology of pregnancy. The more educated you are about the minor, and major symptoms associated with pregnancy then the more steps you can take for prevention. Constipation during pregnancy is definitely preventable, and easy to correct.

Pregnancy can be an extraordinary experience for a woman. It is far more than growing a baby and dealing with issues like constipation. Pregnancy has a huge emotional, mental, spiritual, and energetic side to it. The more you understand these aspects, the easier and less symptomatic your pregnancy will be. Learning how to connect with the emotions of your unborn child, will allow you to enhance your pregnancy experience and surrender to its normal physiological process like constipation during pregnancy.

Genuine phone coaching, pregnancy healing, seminars, plus a FREE GIFT to support you during your pregnancy click on free pregnancy gift.

Pregnancy After Miscarriage

On January 16, 2008 Mary wrote....
I had 3 miscarriages and I am now 11 weeks pregnant and worried that the same thing may happen in this pregnancy.

I have had a 16 week miscarriage myself and know how emotionally devastating loosing a baby can be. To loose 3 babies is a tuff cross to carry in life.

Using my intuitive skills I feel an overwhelming sense of fear, grief and sadness. As of this moment it is very important to release these emotions from your body. Your growing baby feels everything you feel. I know you want this baby so much but because of you past experiences you are scared of another miscarriage.

If you do not move into a more positive frame of thinking then you put your baby at risk of been prone to feelings of fear, depression and not having a place in this world. I am so board that I am getting depressed. Can my feeling be felt by my baby?

Pregnancy is not easy for any woman and when you are forced to stay in bed for part of the pregnancy it can be very challenging. Now lets look at why you have pre term labor. My intuitive assessment tells me you have a lot of issue with been a mother. You fear not been a good enough mother and not been able to cope. This underlying fear is one of the factors creating pre term labor.

Your baby has picked up your fears and is having a hard time staying in your body.
This overtone of depression is adding to your condition. It is important to shift this depression as your baby is been affected by it. To start with dedicate part of your day consciously connecting with your little one growing inside of you to make him or her feel welcome.

Find some activity that you can do from your bed to keep yourself busy. These last few months in your pregnancy are crucial to the mental health of your baby who will grow into an adult. Unresolved negative emotional thought forms by a pregnant mother can affect a child for a lifetime. Decide in this moment to be positive. Watching the movie the Secret is a great place to start. My CD “Communicating With Your Unborn Child” is a fabulous guided visualization CD to connect at a very deep level with your unborn child. It is no wonder that 25% of all pregnancies end in a miscarriage as most of us are nutritionally depleted because of our lifestyle and the quality of the food we eat. The soil in our land is not longer as nutritional mineral rich as it used to be. It has now become necessary for people to supplement on a daily basis with vitamins, minerals and antioxidants to maintain optimum health and prevent sickness and disease.

To grow a baby you need an extremely hydrated nutritionally sound egg and sperm or else your pregnancy is doomed to fail. So if you are considering pregnancy be smart and start supplementing now before the demands of pregnancy. If you are pregnant then make sure you are taking your pre natal vitamins every day.

Supplementing with vitamins will help improve your fertility rate only if it is getting into your body so be mindful as to the delivery system you are using. Most people supplement with a pill delivery system that has a very poor absorption rate. A liquid delivery system has about 95% absorption rate.

Taking Vitamins alone is not good enough. The body needs minerals to absorb the vitamins. Minerals are the building blocks for optimum health.
